Hi Friends,Did you happen to notice, ETV Bihar and ETV UP are telecasting same programes anytime?The GUIDE also exactly same and both TV are having no change in their programs.. then Why Tata Sky should give both of the channels.. they can remove one channel and place a good channel... also is FTA.. But reapeated FTA is not required..Also ETV Rajesthan has 85% programs from ETV Bihar and ETV UP... Shame on ETV they are wasting the tp.. and Shame on TS.. they are also following that...

ETV Bihar shows programs from Jharkand too, similarly ETV UP shows Utharakand programs, its not only TS all the DTH provider who are providing must be called cheats. Thats not the mistake of TS when a channel shows a particular program or same program, ETV is cataring to different viewers in different parts, they dont do the programs differently for cable tv and dth. Cable guy in bihar might show only ETV bihar he may not show other ETV channels.

Both channels have 95% of same programs and only maximum by one hour slot programs differs in this channel. But this is also not channel specific but just a shuffle of the program shown either in Bihar or UP channel. So totally now the conclusion comes 99% programs are same..
I do not know what is the reason and logic behind have two channels with same program.. When the programs are similar Cable/DTH providers can give any one channel..
DTH Subscriber will have another room to have new channel added in that place.
Also, if at all ETV has some innovative plan.. they can start ETV Tamil and the current space can be used on this transponder by ETV network

I agree it is not TS falut. But such an NO 1 (as they claim) and Superbrand DTH should have been pro-active and they could not have wasted by adding the two FTA which has same programs.
Say for example, We have Doordharshan TV station at Madurai. In terristorial Telecast, they do show their local programs apart from our Normal Podhigai TV (Chennai DD) programs.
So how far it make sense to add Pothigai TV and Madurai Doordhan in two different channels as majority of the programs are same all the time and only maximum by two hours are different.
