Just discovered this yesterday, say you're watching a recorded program and have to stop halfway, so you power off the box. When you get back and power it on the live TV relay starts playing, now I'm guessing most people would be going into Plan and selecting the same program and Playing it from where you last stopped... however, after you power on the box, if you just press the back button the recorded program starts playing from where you left off. Apologies if this is obvious but I'm sure there's a few people who didn't know this.

wow this is helpful!!! Thanks nosh!! maybe this will reduce the half baked recordings!

If you switched off while watching a recorded program, then back button will work. If you are watching normal TV (and back button is used to swap channels) and if you press play button, then the recorded program starts from the point where you stopped.

Good feature, definately saves fast-forwarding to resume video to point it was stopped.Power OFF means putting STB in standby or Power OFF by switching OFF Mains power supply?
