He(vikram kaushik) has been saying about more regional channels and pvr for more than two years,but,only now atleast the latter(pvr) got materialized .Who knows? may be for HD in Tata Sky you'll have to wait for two more years.

I think it does have a season pass feature. See FAQ. They say that "set your favourite daily soap for recording only once and it will get recorded automatically everyday"
