Respected Sir/Madam,
It was on this very unfortunate day i.e. dated 6th of August, 2009; that I foolishly booked a connection for
Tata Sky: (jisko laga dala to life ka Band bajela) at around 12.30 PM. One Mr. Nayab explained in detail about the good customer service and excellent quality service of your product. I made it very clear, before
booking, that if the connection is installed today, then only I am interested in booking for your connection. The reason behind this was that I have promised my closeone ( I just do not want to disclose it to inhuman company like yours); that I will be managing to get the connection installed today. Mr. Nayab, very authoritatively, assured me, "Sir Kya baat karte ho, abhi 1500 hours tak aapke ghar mein connection fit ho jayega, if you book it right now".. Within 10 minutes, your company was paid the sum of 1999 INR through
credit card so as to get the connection installed by 1500 hours today i.e. dated 6.8.2009.
One of my friendly colleage, who was also listening to the conversation became very curious about it; and I told him that I was giving the connection as a gift to one of my close ones (relation is not disclosed due to above mentioned reasons). He said, how can it be possible that you could get a connection within such a short period. I told him that I have been promised and that it is only because of that I have booked the connection. He was very much impressed with your service and service-representatives who pick up the phone after dialing 1860-425-6633. He said in that case he is also interested but he was not having any credit card. I once again called the help line number 1860425-6633 and asked if I can pay on his behalf for which I was told that I can pay. He said that he would go for it simply because one of his seniors is also opting for your so called

Anyway, the payment was made for two connections and I told my close-one that buddy please accept the gift on the auspicous occassion of your birthday. The payment was made by my wife through her credit card. The payment for my connection was made at 12.30 PM around while the payment for my colleague was made at around 01.20 PM. At around, 3.30 PM, I was told that no connection has been installed and since then I was regularly speaking to all and any representative of your looting company and kept requesting for the connection to be installed by today. Surprisingly, all of them named Ms. Aman; Ms. Prinaka Senior CC, Ms. Tanu Senior CC; failed to ensure this. What's more, most of the representative were found to be rude and non-coooperative and talked in a very taken for granted tone after they observed that I had already made the payment. Except Ms. Tanu, who was very much supportive (though she was also helpless to go against the company's policty that take money and forget the commitment), all of your dumb representatives on the telephone kept making promises till 6.15 PM that the connection would be installed by today itself. It was only her (Ms. Tanu), who is still not adjusted as per your policy of befooling people, who dare to speak the truth and told me that connection can not be installed today and that tomarrow by 10.00 AM the connection will definitely be installed. She appeared to have really understood the agony and pain of a poor father i.e. myself, who is just a middle-class govt. servant and such small things means a lot, and apologized on behave of your looting company that she would try to make her best. I also understood her helplessness of working in such a mis-managed company and accepted her offer; though I did not know how I would be facing my Son, who was curious to have his gift on a very special occasion of his life.
Thereafter, one of your employee called me via telephone number 9268572502 and told me that the connection can not be installed on today and only after 10.00 AM on the next day dated 7.8.2009 the connection can be made. I said okay and then he told me that I have to pay 100/- rupess extra charge in case the length of the installation cable exceeds 15 foot. I told him that I was not told anything like that during my initial conversation with Mr. Nayab. He said that I had to pay the charges whether I was told or otherwise. I told him that I am not interested at all. Thereafter, I again called your helpline and fortunately Ms. Tanu was there, she again apologized for your cruel company and assured me that no such charges were required to be paid by me.
Anyhow, after having a deep guilt feeling; but trying to understand the problem, I visited the residence of my colleague whose connection was also booked through me at 1.20 PM. Surprisingly, when I arrived at his house in Hauz Khas, your company members were there fitting the device. He asked if the connection was installed at my residence; I said no. Then he narrated the troubles with your so called good employess who were fixing the connection at his home. They were rude, careless and non-understanding. I told them that I have been promised that if I made the payment through HDFC credit card, one month subscription pack amounting to Rs. 275/- is free, while your man was agruing that only 245/- rs. pack is free. This is hillarious and I was really amazed at the working of your company.
And, now I can understand why the prices of TATA Communication, and TATA Power shares are not rising. Thereafter, I came back to my home completely disappointed and in a very sorry state of being cheated and looted by your socalled renowned company; and sufted the net. And, now I found that I am not alone and that majority of your customers are facing the same problems in some different way.
I know that I lossed my money and I have to forget my hard-earned money of which I am cheated off. But I hereby request you to take some strong measure, in this regard so that other poor people may not suffer like me. I have kept my decision of posting a new thread/blog about this pending, till I receive your response.
Unfortunately for you, I am well versed in internet and all I can do is CC or BCC to all my email frinds (around 50) and other forums so that people may think thrice before opting for your connection. Following are some of the links which I found on net regarding your great service.
