I am a current Dish TV user. Since, I have heard good things about Tata Sky , I am planning to take up the service for my second tv. I don’t want to have another Dish tv connection as I am too fed up. Most of u guys are Tata Sky users, so I would want you suggestions as to how I can get the best from this service and overcome the various “minefields” which I am sure are many as with other services. Any tips will be useful. Also, which package do u think is better? I am more keen on sports channels. Has anyone recorded cricket matches on Tata Sky Plus as they show in the ad?

I think you should go for Tata Sky. The quality is great, installation is no problem too. Just be a little carefull if you live in lower floors of a tall building. Apart from that its a great service. You will experience a short downtime during heavy rains but for a few minutes though. Just make sure you buy the right package as different packages are suitable for different people. See your choice and zoom ahead!

It will be easy to answer your questions if you list why you are not satisfied with dish tv. Those issues can then be addressed.
