I am really confused ! On one hand everybody talks about channel & package choice and when some company launches channel/package choice, we all condemn it! What exactly we want from the DTH companies? Give entire channels bouquet for Rs.150? or even less.

^^^ Rightly said. Now everybody may not interested in this channel, its good if Tata Sky giving option of not subscribing to it if not interested.

^^ I agree with you, People start criticizing when any channel is removed from the base pack, even though they dont watch it. I dont think there is anything wrong having channels in A-la-carte, If some one is interested let them select it and pay for it. I feel people want all the channels but price should not be increased. same happened with Sun Direct, once SUN direct introduced different add on packs for pay channels and announced the prices, people started criticising it. I think people have to get used to the concept of DTH and pay per view in India.

Who is saying that you pay for it! If it useful for you than Rs. 15 per month is nothing but if it not not then why keep shouting and critising it. That is why A-la- Carte system is the best, pay only for what you watch.

Better they give all the channels in A la Carte. They should understand that they will be saving Rs.15 for this channel if it is a crap to them. Same problem in Sun dth section. If they ask them to pay Rs.350 for all the channels whether they watch or not they cry. If they ask them to pay only for the channels they want watch then also they cry. None of them here or in that section said they won't pay for those channels(they say it is crap).Lesson is, they know only to cry and not interested in watching :rofl:

Its better not burdening the base pack users by adding Rs. 15 on the base rather it would be better if the same channel is provided in alacarte if the user is interested go for it...............:thumbsup:. It would be great in the future if TS provides some more boquets of channels separtely for Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam, Kannada......by which the users who are watching Tamil Channel need not pay for Telegu Channels..........
