Tata Sky HD gets Star Plus HD, Star World HD, Star Movies HD & Star Gold HD

"make my pack" users cannot opt for any additional packs other than picking the channels individually. Am i wrong here?

I also wanted to know this ...is mix and match allowed ??

E.g. i want to choose 2 packs and 10 selective channels of my choice ....is it allowed ??

PS: - i have always taken annual mega pack thus this doubt

I have subscribed to channels on Tata Sky on a-la-carte basis. Can I subscribe to optional packs?

If you have subscribed to channels on an a-la-carte basis then you cannot subscribe to optional packs E.g. if you have selected some channels worth Rs 150 monthly subscription, you CANNOT opt for optional packs. So packs like English Movies orSports Platinum or Cosmo will not be allowed. However, you could change over to a TruChoice popular pack & then opt for optional packs like the English Movies or Sports Platinum.

Hi Teamare2006Even i faced the same audio problem while watching StarMovies HD today...but i guess its only a temporary phase...will be sorted out in a day or two....

BTW, I heard that TS HD has released a firmware upgrade....my STB hasn't been updated yet

Is there a way I can expedite the upgrade process?

do they have any version log ALL i could notice post the upgrade was that - now i can fast forward any recorded stuff at 2x/4x and so on. (Earlier lowest possible was 4x for me)

Yes. New firmware is available. Switch on your HD box. After few mins. STB automatically downloading the new firmware. My STB is updated today.

Yeah same here with the new HD channels lot of sound clipping, I have the standard TataSky HD box never had the problem earlier with the old HD channels also got the software update now and the display shows it as Tatasky +

Yes same here. Sound problem is certainly there in new HD channels like STAR Gold HD , Star Plus HD (especially during bollywood movies) , Star movies HD.In Star movies HD sound went off for 10-15 seconds every 4-5 minutes this Sunday evening during the movie "Enemy of State". While watching 'De Dana Dan' this Saturday on Star Gold HD , every 9-10 minutes erring noise was produced for 5-6 seconds after which sound went offf for 15-20 seconds. This happened throughout the movie. Same problem happened on Star Plus HD this Sunday evening.Hope Tata Sky rectifies this problem quickly. Other than this TATA SKY HD Channels rocks!!! Awesome true HD quality entertainment )
