Now visualize this ... Watching a match with Star sports logo+ the scrolling message+ Tata Sky logo+ the 7-8 digit number for TS users+ 7-8 digit number which star sports have for TS + active sports red spot ... and sometime these channels reduce the screen size to show the ad ... Wht a picture ... 
A cost we have to pay for the so called DVD quality picture ... TRAI is just sleeping and sleeping....
With respect to ESS channels and other star channels the logo is been displayed from day 1 from TS

Though Tatasky can show its logo in all the channels as watermark.
Frankly i am happy in seeing Tatasky logo in every channel.
So that most of the new comers to our home will know that we are using Tatasky DTH service in our home.
I agree with you Mr. Raddy and i am also happy to see those logo but the best thing in that logo is that if you are keenly watching tv its hard to find out. I dont find these logo are disturbing me and i am very happy to see these logos in all the channels.

I agree with you Mr. Raddy and i am also happy to see those logo but the best thing in that logo is that if you are keenly watching tv its hard to find out. I dont find these logo are disturbing me and i am very happy to see these logos in all the channels.

Guys can anyone tell me wat is TRAI?I searched in the google and it came as Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India.But cananyone tell me wat they will do in dth service?

and what abt Tatasky and other DTH operators/broadcasters going to TDSAT against TRAI rule every now and then? isnt that exaggerating? eventually they lose the case against TRAI.
infact they (might) even be knowing that eventually they will lose the case, but even then they file a case. why? first to earn time so they do not have to implement immediately what is against them. and 2nd its just a try, they might hit jackpot and win case. money to fight case is nothing for them.
its pity that some consumers are happy with what they have instead of what they shud have and how it shud have been.
if u dont object now abt logo. tomorrow they will take it a step further. and find some another LEGAL way to show ads while serial is going on. for example, hey watermarks are allowed. customers have no problem with watermarks, why not start showing watermarked ads?!!! what an !dea sir!
my point is just keep objecting to things which u do not want or not necessary to be there for YOU. logo is for them, they are promoting their service and also trying to stop piracy of signal. it is their problem not ours. u have not paid to see their logo. you as customer do not want to know that u r watching tatasky. u already know it, dont u? if u want to show ur guests that u r using tatasky, then u can always go get a tatasky sticker and stick it on ur TV.
