You wont get anywhere near or "distant to near" DVD quality with a 42" LCD and TS ...... since it uses the regular composite / RCA ..... but its the best you can get if you want to watch TV in a big LCD ... Cable and Dish TV suck when it comes to 42" or more.... whereas you can see a distinct change with a TS connection where the quality is better... If the TS receiver had component out, there would be an even better enhancement.... Yet so experience BigTV.. but its not out yet expect to few.. Go ahead with TS anytime !!!!!!! It does rock
