With Airtel digitaltv,Big tv and now d2h in the market,Tata Sky will lose customers for sure.Aggressive pricing and more channels are bound to attract customers.

D2H has all channels pack for just 275 per month at present,so those who want can go for it with 1year and save alot.

Many players in the market but not all attract customers as brand name also plays an important role and standing in the market. With this target Tata Sky has aimed for regaining strenght in its ranking.

Brand  only is followed by those who work for it.Others can make or break that brand. So Tata Sky should come out of the laurels and start implementing some good packages.

OF course breaking a brand image can happen in no time whereas creating one takes years of dedicated effort. In a way every one is brand loyal from the toothpaste he uses to the shirt he chooses.

There is no brand loyalty for customers.Loyalty is only for people who promote a brand.Tata Sky as a brand has lost its sheen and significant no of customers.

Concept of brands only work with clothing & cold drinks (I think) :) For service, people want it at affordable cost, and when such options are available, people would switch to cheaper options.

Brand loyalty and brand promotion are two totally different aspects. A brewer may be selling kingfisher but he may not drink at all. Service too directs a persons choice toward a brand if any Co.s customer service will lack respect for customers the customer will definately switch his interest. A person will not want to change his contact no. every now and then but if the customer care of the service provider does not cater well he is not going to stick to the brand just for the number although the no. may be very important to him.

instead of adding customer, TS needs to concentrate on keeping its current users happy!Too ambitious by TS!:notallowed::@
