Tell me about storage technology related courses

Hi,A friend of mine is doing Red Hat Linux System Administartion course in Mumbai at an institute. Somebody has suggested him to do a course in storage technology as well, so that he has a better chance of geting a job in a data centre. I am not much informed about this storage technology related courses. Can you please help me which course he should do to boost his chances of getting a job in IT field. The institute where he is currently doing Red Hat does not run storage related course. Thanks.
