Tenda N301 Wi-Fi Speed Limited to 20–25 Mbps in WISP/Repeater Mode on a 100 Mbps RailWire Connection – Is This Normal?

yes its open source and can do way more things than just wifi mesh. its the best deal right now. but it does require a bit of hardware tinkering on your part. If you dont want to put in the efforts just buy a ax3000 and up router and put it in ap mode and connect a lan cable
 
wifi to wifi is always going to be bad, unless you get some high end triple band mesh set up. wired always wins. See if you can mange with thin cables from ubiquiti or some place.
 
Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra router + wired WiFi 6 APs is the best solution and investment I did in 2026 on networking tbvh!! Worth it totally!
 
@invisible007 Not if you're on 100Mbps plan! Worth it for me as I'm upgrading too 1Gbps soon and I need best of the best gear.

1 Gbps ? which ISP is serving out there in Pune ? DNA or Mach coz YBB is upto 500 last I saw
 
YBB does provide 1Gbps with corporate broadband plan. I'm getting that once my 500Mbps 3 months plan expires..
DNA never ever I'm touching. Had pretty bad experiences with them.
