read an article and it does seem to apply on devices which does not have sims so would affect whatsapp web users. and well people like me who use telegram on pc pretty much all the time. verifying otp every six hours to use telegram on pc? god knows what freak came up with this concept.

telegram does not even like to send sms in india (and a lot of other countries) lol. i can imagine they are not going to be happy with this. i do not think i have logged in with a sms in years. they send otp on another device where you are logged in. they have also been pushing users to get premium for a week to get first otp to compensate the costs of sending texts lol. lala company.

this is also why i stay logged in on multiple browsers and devices at any given time. fuckers are really anal about sending otp on sms.
