This was mostly offered by Public sector banks..... I am not aware of any such offer from HDFC..... Moreover, they have their own medical insurance HDFC Ergo.....

I've heard from a person who's an agent that

1. HDFC Ergo
2. Max Bupa
3. Star Health

These are the two top insurance providers.

I am a bit concerned about the settlements as I have come across various online complaints.

I have recently ported my mom’s health insurance to hdfc ergo after consultation with my medical friends. Yes the premiums are higher than the competition.

I am planning to get a health insurance for my parents(both are 50+). Do you guys have any good suggestions?
I have heard a lot of good things about acko health insurance. My employer provides oriental health insurance with a cover upto 10L.

I have a few questions:
1. My parents don't have a lot of health issues. My mom is pre diabetic and dad has gone through gall bladder removal surgery last year. He also does smoke often. How much cover should I opt for?
2. Premium is not a worry for me, can you guys suggest a few good options who provide cashless claim settlement in major hospitals?
