It will take some time but these paid channels will realize that people won't pay Rs19 for ad supported channels with shit content.

I have disconnected my Airtel DTH since February. Its been over a month and we really don't miss DTH that much. Unless these broadcasters lower their channel costs I am not activating my DTH.

The internet is quickly expanding, the speeds are increasing, the quality of service is getting better. Even local ISPs in tier 2 cities are stepping up their game.

Dehradun has very low no. of ISPs but even here recently the plans are getting better. Within this year or by mid-2020, I believe 15-25 Mbps will become the norm in tier 2 cities.

Netflix - I pay for this one on sharing basis 200 per month.
