It's got less to do with religon than appearance ....................starts off when we're young, find the guy that looks different and tease.

as blr sed there's nothing communal bout it and i guess that we make fun coz we hv seen others make fun after we inherit most of the things and this is jus one of them. we din start it, we jus followed it.
well there's nuthing communal, religious or casteism involved in this.. well I think it cud be becoz I heard surds r very aggressive and take decisions quickly (not all of them) So to mock this behaviour of theirs maybe ppl started to make fun of them. But I feel very bad like everyone one of u... and indeed the surds have turned their backs on those jokes too... They don't care abt wht the world throws at them... they r steady n moving ahead.. I got a chance to meet one of dad's frend a surd I thought he was aggressive but very jovial and quickly gets along with ppl... imagine we even had a language barrier.. like he was speaking pundilish (Punjabi+English+Hindi) and I was answering him in English and the much of hindi I knew!! But he was a nice guy! I've seen some punjabi girls n some of them are really appealing.... (Off-Topic)
Little Johnny was sitting on a park bench munching on one candy bar after another. After the sixth one a man on the bench across from him said, "Son, you know eating all that candy isn't good for you. It will give you acne, rot your teeth, make you fat."Little Johnny replied, "My grandfather lived to be 107 years old."The man asked, "Did your grandfather eat 6 candy bars at a time?"Little Johnny answered, "No, he minded his own business!"
