Lol no. The decision to kill his character came after he requested out of the 4th season. Not the other way around. And yeah, the whole rescue plan seems shitty.

Reminds me. The Castle did a much better job where he had to rescue his daughter. The police never interfered going abroad. But Castle being a private citizen could.

i mean even then they could have shown a better death for him lol. i was not even sure if he was dead till they talked about it later on. the guy threw his body in the trunk of the car. and that car was in that warehouse. but they did not check the car and left after seeing the ied connected to the dress? i must have missed something while i was facepalming.

sure he was still a hero because he 'scratched' the guy who shot him so they were able to identify him and arrest him. cool cool cool cool cool.

also not to mention... they also got rid of one of the core bad guy the mafia lady at the end of the episode! just like that. shot. and forgotten. i mean what was the direction to the writers of the show? we are doing a reboot? it's time to focus on romance between bradford and chen.

Yeah. they didn't check for his body. No funeral either. Hahaha...it could have easily been done in 2 episodes. And they could have dropped both episodes on the same day. At least make it believable. She was the main villain for most of S3 and it took just a single gunshot to kill her? All the other so-called men protecting her suddenly vanished into thin air. When I saw the compound, I was like chalo...maybe at least a good action scene would go down.

It was like the show ran out of the budget with the first episode itself. The show probably hired more extras to get into the car during the escape but dumped all of them at the end. lol

This was the plan B they spent 15 minutes arguing about and were being scared of? This should have been Plan A given how easier it looked. ROFL

Not to mention the unlocked storage locker at architect. Or how easily the private military guy gave up. Twice iirc.

If I am not wrong, the actor they hired as the military contractor is known for comedic roles? So obviously he would agree. lol

i know that guy from the west wing. played a serious role in that. he was also on sports night. can't think of a comedy though. pretty frustrating role for an actor like him who has played some very well defined characters in the past.

he doesn't seem to mind though lol.

I hate all such comedy shows. lol

Btw when Nolan said I can barely look at the compound, let alone make out the details...the shot on his screen was from a colored high-resolution video from a drone. It wasn't satellite footage. So much for authenticity. lol

it's like they rented that villa for 24 hours to keep costs low. had to quickly get all the shots and move out.

So, in the latest episode, we get a new rookie. A new black guy to replace the previous black guy who left the show. And to make things interesting, they made a character who was accused of killing his friend. He was found innocent. He is of course a famous tiktoker and had to sue the police department to be able to train as a police officer and now he is a rookie.

They also managed to arrest a huge criminal who has escaped the law for years. The new rookie is of course the smart guy who predicts how the robbery would proceed because of his experience as a famous celebrity tiktoker and of course they were easily able to catch this robber. Tricia Helfer is the mastermind criminal in this case. Cops know she is a robber, but she is smart enough to never get caught. Travels around in fancy cars. Eats out at fancy restaurants. Cops know that she is going to commit a robbery, but they cannot do anything about it because she is just so clever! But the rookie gets to him in this episode of course.

And since nathan fillion is no longer a rookie but he is basically the actor who is carrying this show around. They had to keep him relevant to the plot of the show. So, he decided a while ago that he wants to train fresh rookies instead of just focusing on becoming a cop. This season I imagine we would see him become a training officer and would be assigned another interesting new character as a rookie to train.
