Thinking of buying HTC HD7...but

The price in India, Mumbai is 28,880 (or close)..however, in the alpha market, Irla in Vile parle, without bill we can get it for much less. I wanted to know how reliable is Alpha as I have never bought anything from there. Plus, this amount is any small amount, so I want to be extra carefull. What should I do??

i have been to alpha on sunday and the price is 26,750 with bill and without bill it is 25,000 i wouldnt recommend you to buy such a costly phone without bill...anyways my friend bought this cell phone its great but the only problem is with battery life if u buy this phone make sure you buy extra battery :S

no not 50% (am not that lucky ) but yes, around 23-24...

26,750 with bill??? When I went there, it was 28...and even now Anupam store is selling at the 28,880 price range...bt anyways, this thread is not about the price range..its about Alpha..is it reliable..with or even wihout bill??

Ever considered eBay? You will get the phone with warranty and bill for around 24K with a discount coupon:

okay i dont know about ebay since the one you posted is not "buy now price" with bidding it goes up. anyways i have bought many items from alpha in mumbai including my ps2, game boy etc.... if the difference in the warranty is not much like in your case i suggest take it with the bill ... better to be safe and specially when you are getting warranty for only 1750 ruppees more...although things are quite unlikely to go wrong ( i havent had a bad experience with alpha... when i was in bombay i bought almost everything from there ) you will have a lot less tension

Thanx a lot man...the thing is, I have a paranoia that the products sold here are either used or second hand and they just put it in new boxes and sell..i know it sounds ridiculous but that's my problem..I have heard everyone say that its the best place to buy phones etc... the prices too are very different from other stores like Anupam and all...so lets see, going there on Monday-tuesday with dad...lets see..But Thanx once again...
