Hi my fellow brothers and sisters this Ranjith from chennai i own Anticenaarmy3 channel in india which is getting quite famous in recent times

Enough intro's

I was a loyal user of Tata indicom even if they charge me more than a normal isp. Then comes the doomsday that they had connectivity problems in my area and 12 days net was not working for me so i unsubscribed!

Last month i subscribed airtel 512kbps plans and it was fine like i was not aware of 8gb limit cause i was not using internet that much

It was perfect their service was really good and THEN. I subscribed to 1mbps connection and started downloading episodes from liberty city from games for live windows using my gamertag and 800 gold I completed 14 gb like within 3 days. And i played multiplayer for a day

Today i was watching this Area 51 documentary and the last video streamed very slowly i was like what the? i called up airtel and they said " You possibly crossed your limit "

I was like WHADAFAAAK? limit for what? i asked.

The lady responded your fair usage limit saaair.

Fair usage what? i asked again.

She explained a huge script she had in her database or her server or whatever those wankers keep it.

i really didn't understand it so i browsed and FUP? what the hell? my connection is unlimited for only 15gb? i unsubscribed airtel today calling them. I received my airtel gift the reebok watch lol

so anyways i won't recommend airtel to my friends anymore and i will aware all of my friends so guys Suggest me

What internet should i go in chennai? MTS or Reliance? who has unlimited plans and when i say unlimited i MEAN IT

sorry for the essay and Love you all.

Forgive me if i posted something wrong in the wrong section! i am a newb

we all are with u dood. this FAIR USE POLICY it self is UNFAIR USE POLICY with customers, these peoples are robbing our pockets with the connection name as Unlimited plan when itself it is limited to some XX gb data. and it seems government dosnt care about such thing in our country because all what these leaders get at there home is either free or being paid by we public peopls wallet. I have sympathy for u for the lose of money. and as all other indians i m also waiting for someone to do something for this!! and about ir connection in chennai, i guess we have lods of users here from chennai and they can help u better in this case. see u around mate.

go for bsnl adsl or evdo or 3g gsm

just read a article that Airtel is deploying some more network management tools . the plan seems to remove FUP and put some new ways to limit p2p/bittorrent traffic

Telecomyatra > News > TTSL, Airtel deploy NetVertex's broadband management sol

In recent past telcos offering broadband services in India have been facing lot of criticism for FUP (Fair Usage Policy) clause, speed of internet connection, quality of service and value added services on usage of unlimited broadband plans as well as other plans also. NetVertex will enable the two telcos to offer their broadband subscribers with new service plans that include bandwidth on demand features, tiered price plans, fair access, and application (P2P, FTP, HTTP, SMTP) based quota management and charging policies.
