I Recently taken a wireless EVDO data card which was supposed to give speed upto 2.4Mbps.
i am fortunate to get .5Mbps-1.5Mbps. i can download @50KBps-190KBps depending on network.



my problem is i cant use torrents.. evrytime i get a yellow face on the torernt and horrible download speeds.
but this doesnt happen if i use a direct link downloads.. even i can download @ 50KBps-190KBs if i download anything from vuze network.



can anyone help me ??

I have a ZTE usb Modem from device manager Model:8700
and i get ip in xx.xx.xx.xx rather getting xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
i use XP SP3.

As far as i remember, BSNL EVDO troubles torrent users, since it uses some kind of proxy. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

how to test its getting proxied or not ??

There's nothing to test man, its the same for all EVDO users........... was what i had heard before. I just googled and i think the post here might help you out:

does port forwarding option works for EVDO ?or setting the proxy setting in utorrent ??
