Threadripper desktop PC (Zen 2 based 32 core 3970X with 128 GB RAM) for sale in Pune!

I think yeah abt smth else....dont remember tho.long time ago. .. I'm frim iit kgp....dont worry abt shipping....ill get that sorted out...just we need to decide a time that works for us...does the Asus wifi card word with linux? If possible then can u send me the model or serial number or whatever helps me lookup a bit bout it?

Yeah might have been TP-Link xe75 you had for sale back then :)

I can get it shipped after proper packing (inside and outside) by the Gtek Pune shop who did my builds (including this PC) for me...

Yes the Asus (wifi-6) card works with linux. Check the link on my webpage Threadripper for Sale! it has the system details...

What I can do (maybe this weekend) is fresh install Win11 (without product key) and a few linux distros (let me know anything specific you want me to install/test) and run some tools/tests/commands you want and gather screenshots, maybe videos etc. even do like a video call if you want to observe it real time.

There's no obligation/pressure to buy of course, if you don't want the PC, this stuff I can re-use post it in my sale threads for others to see too.

Let me know...

If possible can u try proxmox? Cuz that's gonna be my primary use case. In proxmox, spin up any linux vm and passthru the wifi card. That'll also test pcie passthrough

Ok I guess I can try it lol

@Lucifer_King seems to be working, see output of lspci -nnk:

Let me know what you think.

Had to jump thru hoops to figure it out (hardly ever used proxmox really) and also found out that my TP-Link xe75 top port is non-functional too like a lot of these devices people complaining about

Ah yes! Its working! Sorry for going afk...was caught up in some work....will have to go out of station next week...so was thinking after 1st sep? We can maybe decide on the final bits like logistics and all?

BUMP!

Just a note that this is STILL AVAILABLE…

I’m using it to play around with different workloads/tools, like proxmox, xpc-ng, trying different OS etc while waiting for some kind hearted soul to take it off my hands.

As the saying goes, if you love something, just let it go

So if anyone is interested, feel free to get in touch.
