so 5 day later this is what i get...

THEY COMPLETE MISSED THE POINT OF THEIR PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! WHATS WRONG WITH THESE GUYS...DO THE HAVE EMPTY SPACE FOR BRAINS...SHEESH :angry:

umm emails wont do u any good. Go and meet some high level officials. They must pull up the concerned staff. I too had a bad experience while dealing with Hughes ( Now TATA indicom ). They had the guts to call up my place and threaten my father instead of settling the bill while disconnecting. Just go in their office and create a big scene. Threaten them with police and media. The guilty party should be prosecuted swiftly ;)
 
No wonder they come out with schemes and insist customers to pay for 3/6 months in advance(0 installation etc). Atleast customer will no dc for that period hehehe.
 
was once foxed in by tata landline phone and discontinued my bsnl landline(had reduced free calls to 75 at tat time) to take a tata landline.. everything was fine for 2 months, thn they started giving inflated bills, and it showed calls to hotline numbers wich i didnt make.. tried to get it rectified for 2 months but in vain. and thn finally stopped paying the bills and shifted bak to the reliable bsnl :D...
 
TATA is pathetic - just make sure you have records of your interactions: emails and/or phone calls. Do make sure to meet with the high level official incharge of customer service at the head office of your area. And make sure to create a big scene - these people don't listen otherwise. I just came back from their Bangla Sahib main office in Delhi and had to create a "huge scene" - shouting, threatening and all included!! - to finally get to Mr. Ravi Kapoor at the head office. Only then my downtime credit for my broadband was given and on a side, I also got the serial and PIN number for which I had made a payment via ICICI netbanking on 14th June! Persistence and assertiveness in front of the incharge is a must - Do let us know what happens. And do join the online user group to take on the pathetic VSNL/Tata customer care. Tata Indicom broadband entirely are assgoles. My connection was down for three months. Needless to say what I did during that period, and then the connection was active once again. Only later did i realize that i have been billed 6k during these 4 months. No down time credit given during the entire period, and the connection was rectified giving me a NEW IP and for that the billing department charges with 2500 and not to say the huge service tax to go along with the bill. I already ditched their connection long ago and have it deactivated from last few weeks till this bill issue get rectified. Losers from billing department threaten that bill bhardo varna action lena padega. Use karte waqt socha kyun nahi and actually sent a collection guy to collect the money at home.How worse could it get? To add insult to injury they want me to forward the complaint number to them personally to get the bill rectified. Only later did i realize that they dont have any provision to change the bill, they only end it in lumpsome or take care of it with your future bills.Tata Indicom broadband rocks!
 
Guys, I hope by now you have switched to Airtel.If not, send a curt reply to those meaningless customer service emails fromTATA saying that you dont need their damn connection.Add a link to this thread,to let them know their "High Quality" is being let known to the world.
 
hiMe from Pune and last month I had taken Net on-n-on 64 6 ( paid 6 months bill earlier to avoid installation charge) and it starts showing its true value after few days.Now one guy/engineer is comming and saying diff story daily.And if you call cc guys they are only registering complaints nothing else.If anybody has their managers/zonal managers number /email id plz provide me.thanx
 
tata sucks.. had their net n had a horrid time.. now.. if the customer service had issues only in 1 place in the country.. then.. maybe we could have blamed the cc.. but.. seein that this happens throughtout india.. one cant help but believe that company policy is to be held resposible..trust me mates.. don ever bother urself with tata broadband.. i've suffered enough.. infact.. now that i've switched over to bsnl.. i'm surprised at the quality they offer.. never.. i mean never has it been down.. somethin my 6-8 months of tata broadband could never do!!
