This happened to me for Discovery Science & Discovery Turbo (last month) & couple of other channels which I don’t watch regularly. When I spoke to TS, I had to go thru the usual gamut of do this & do that, when nothing worked he kept me on hold for a few minutes after coming back online he asked me if the STB was kept on the
tv?, I said yes, that was where it was kept by the TS technician who installed it & that has never caused a problem. He asked me to keep it away from the top of the tv & this seems to have worked for most times. Not sure if this will solve your problem.
my set top box is under the tv and there is lot of space btwen the 2

Yeah this happens many times......
In my case too, when the installation was done, i just said about my preference to the guy, that i wanted to place it on the Stand made above the TV. And incidentally the sub-woofer too was there by its side.
But he didnt object at all, no advice & just installed it there.
A week later, when i had lodged complaints regarding some malfunctioning of STB, and feed issues, their senior person came & he pointed out this thing at an instant. He said its a huge mistake to place it near the woofer, let alone the TV below.....
also if u try to touch the
TATA STB from above you might get occasional currents...hmmm...bad quality !! btw I complained about this issue to
Tata Sky CC their response was sir plz dnt touch STB from its top
