To port or not to port for VodafoneIdea customers

Right now, Vodafone is giving out best 4G speeds due to somewhat empty network.

Instead of vil Shutdown they must combine with bsn mtnl...for their good feuture.

Its a bad situation to be in. In some areas, Airtel is horrible in Chennai, so some people are sticking with Vodafone and in fact they are asking if Vodafone is better and whether they can jump to Vodafone - I am not sure what to say any more

TBH Jio is better in Chennai than other networks Airtel is congested in Chennai like Jio in other places and Vodafone Idea is good in some parts of Chennai where the networks are merged and other places network fluctuates a lot.

My experience with Jio has been the worst - multiple times.

I too have very bad experience with jio.
For me VIL and Airtel are much better than jio.

Vodafone has failed to provide 1) e-sim and now 2) VoWifi. I waited for 2 years, tweeting endlessly and the answer would always be " we will be introducing the same shortly".
Finally ported to Airtel, as I will be moving in a high rise which has a Signal Booster ( with only Airtel providing the last mile boost) provided by the builder and if the signal booster doesn't work, atleast vowifi would be a saving grace. Vodafone has 0 connectivity on floors above 9 and they don't seem to be doing anything to boost their signals through the builder provided Boosters.
Even if Vodafone does come out of the AGR mess, they won't have money or the will to innovate or provide additional services.

Vodafone will in all probability be made to survive. But QoS will get worse before it gets better (hopefully). Either way ALL telecom customers will be holding the can (as always). Bailouts costs will be spread to all.
