Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

I am talking from a business perspective. August 23 is a really bad time to put it on Digital. The movie is still pulling $10mn weekly. The best date to put it on digital is between September 3-5 which is Labor day weekend in the US. Also, that will put it directly in competition with Rings of Power and Spider-man no way home theatrical re-release.

Wow. Look at me. Suggesting a better business move for a propaganda movie. I should go and die now. :/

This is out. Please grab the largest print you can find on the biggest screen you can manage at the loudest sound you can play without getting in trouble with your neighbors to watch this awesome US army propaganda movie. The plane fights never looked better. ✌️

But documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act reveal that the movie was made only after an agreement was signed between Hollywood and the Pentagon, with the Navy insisting on “weav[ing] in” their “key talking points” in exchange for granting the production company extensive access to military hardware.
