torrent speed Problem

Hi,I am using 750ul plan and i am getting 5 kB/s(avg) download speed in utorrent.I have forwarded the ports correctly.I am downloading a file which got 42 seeders and 342 leeachers.My net speed results from speedtest.net are dwld:255Kb/s and upld:37Kb/sA few weeks back i was getting 20kB/s average download speed.can anyone help me to restore this torrent speed.plz do rplyThnks

try downloading the ubuntu torrent and then post your download speed.. do you see a green tick mark in utorrent?

Hi all,

1.Even I'm facing same problem my torrents speed is too low.
2.Speedtest.net shows 1.8Mbps/750kbps.
3.Port Fwrd is also Green signal.
i would also like to say that the time i'm using is b/w 2-8....

I feel the download speed is low bcoz there are 3 torrents being downloaded at the same time ...

Hi tiddit nd manju....here r some tips to increase download speed in link-removed....mak sure dat ur download nd upload speeds are not limitedin bit torrent tak.... options >> preferences >> advanced.... nd net.max_halfopen is given as 10....change it to 44....simultaneous downloads can give u max speed.... (download atleast 6 at a time....)nd manju if ur downloading movies go to link-removed.com and search for torrents uploaded by aXXo or FXGhigh no of seeders and leeachers alone cant determine the download speed wht matters is d upload speed of those seeders nd leachers...bcoz ur downloading wht those guys r uploading....k
