TP Link Archer A6/C6- a good choice?

Will get upgraded to new Gold plan tomorrow that bumps up the speed to 150 mbps from 100. I had only a single band router up until now but now I need to upgrade and so was looking at the TP Link Archer A6/C6. How are they in terms of performance and range? Is there a better option for me under 2500??

Both are similar specs routers supporting speeds upto 867 mbps on 5ghz. Only difference is that a6 comes with a newer board than c6.Both of that dont have usb ports. If u want to use nas functionality consider D-Link dir 825

Get the C6, it comes with gigabit LAN ports.

Call jio and complain of not getting required speed on wifi.
Chances are they'll upgrade you to dual band router free.

Both have same range , 5ghz range will be lower as it can hardly cover to 2 walls speeds gets decreased rapidly. 2.4ghz can cover about 80 percent area of 1900 sq ft area with archer c6. .and the wifi speeds on 2.4ghz will be theoretically 300mbps. If u want more speeds on 2.4ghz band choose archer c7 as it supports upto 450mbps on 2.4 ghz but the price is around 4.3k
