Recently just for the sake, I flashed my old TP-Link Archer A6 with the latest stable OpenWRT firmware, while using WAN over DHCP/static worked fine but while using PPPOE, the speeds diminished a lot with speeds ranging from 20-30Mbps on a 500Mbps connection.
The CPU usage usually hovers about 1-5%, so I'm not sure what's the issue.
Oh, and when I activate 5GHZ Radio, the router just goes into a boot loop.
My plan was to use it as a load-balancer, but I guess it's not possible this way.
It's a TP-Link Archer A6 version3, with the MediaTek dual-core processor.
