I'm facing the issue on my Archer C1200 V3.0. PPPoE keeps disconnecting every 20 seconds, router config page is inaccessible until you manually replug the power.

Using the same thing as an access point gives a rock solid connection (20 days uptime, no lag).

Digging on the internet led to me believe it a software issue where NAT tables cause a memory exhaustion and the router goofs up.

Unfortunately for me, OpenWRT doesn't support 5Ghz on the Archer C1200 !

@drtech While this may not be exactly the solution, I faced a similar problem on my Archer C6 V3.2 connected to my ONT via bridge mode (Airtel XStream). Issue was that I had selected IPv6 for my WAN connection while Airtel had not enabled the same in my area (still not enabled).

Disabling the IPv6 option and rebooting the router solved the issue. Been 2 months now and its working fine.

I too am waiting for a stable image on OpenWRT for this model.
