Anyone had any luck replacing TSBB provided Nokia router with XZ700 or any other GPON?

I want my TP-Link ER605 Multi-Wan router to initiate PPOE for TTSB. Have tried copying the serial number to XZ000-G7 and setting up Username, Password and VLAN but it seems there are more steps to it. Not sure if I need to clone the MAC address also. I have been successful with my Airtel Broadband on XZ000-G7 GPON and with some VLAN setup, I have also get VOIP working on Microsip and now planning to get a Yealink IP phone.

TPF only works with ONU capable of setting Software Version 1 & 2 via GUI or telnet/ssh and which manages a VLAN scan via telnet/ssh. So you are out of luck unless you manage to get hold of VSOL V2802RH from @anmolbhard004
2nd option is to get HSGQ XPON stick and media converter which will be more expensive.

Don't you only need to get them to enable bridge mode? The Nokia should work just fine?

@eshwarn Let me correct you. The Authentication is dependent on the OLTs used at your location.
1. Some OLTs are fine with just GPON SN change and allow use default VLAN of 100
2. Some OLTs like ALCL and Tejas need SoftwareV1 and SoftwareV2 fields along with GPON SN to perform VLAN scan to get your “True” VLAN
3. Some OLTs need MAC authentication as well

It depends on what OLT is Airtel using for your connection and the configuration they have implemented. Don’t generalise anything.
Whether bridge is enabled on this and this port has no bearing if you use your Own ONU. I never enabled bridge mode on my Tataplay Fiber connection yet enabled bridge Mode on both LAN ports of my VSOL. Internet works on both the ports. But it works only on 1 port at any given time. Tataplay doesn’t allow Multiple PPPoE sessions like Airtel. I have heard that even Airtel has stopped it.

For the love of god I have answered the question in my previously reply in this thread. The G7 is not going to work as it has no options to change any values like SoftwareV1, SoftwareV2. So get a VSOL V2802RH from anmol
