TRAI extends the time for receiving comments on the consultation paper on
“DTH issues relating to tariff Regulation and new issues under reference from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting”
New Delhi, 30th March, 2009 – A consultation paper on “DTH issues relating to tariff Regulation and new issues under reference from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting"” was issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on 6th March, 2009. The paper was launched on TRAI’s website (TRAI::::::) on the same day and comments of the stakeholders on the subject were invited by 30.03.2009.
2. TRAI has received requests from many of the stakeholders for extension of time for sending comments. Keeping in view the importance of the issue and the need for wider participation of stakeholders in the consultation process, TRAI has decided to extend the last date for receiving the comments on the same by some more time. Accordingly, all the stakeholders are requested to send their written comments by 14.04.2009.
