Transfer Recorded Videos to PC

Dear All,can somebody plz help and explain how is it possible to transfer the recorded videos from Big Tv DVR on to PCor External media.Awaits the rsponse eagerly!!!!!

Dear Customer,

The recorded videos cannot be transferred from the HD-DVR set-top box to any external devise or PC, but you can always watch the recorded videos through your set-top box on your TV.

but how is it possible... there has to be a way.... whta if i extract the HDD from the STB and then try to connect it through PC as slave... ????

play the recorded video and connect Audio video out from Tata Sky plus to this unit input and record the programs into PC. you will have to play in normal mode (no fastforward).
To my knowledge no direct file transfer facility is available.
