Hi All, I have BSNL DNA-A211-I modem-router. I have now changed my service provider from BSNL to Airtel. How can I reset the existing wifi modem and make it work with Airtel? Thanks,Manodeep

All you need to do is to change the VPI/ VCI values to those provided by Airtel. You can see an entry in your modem as 0_35, you need to enter the Airtel values. Also change the user name and password in the internet connection configuration. I think the VPI/ VCI values is 1_32 .

Thanks Dilip. But as soon as I click on edit, connection to the modem is lost. This is happening frequently with every attempt at editing the parameters. I am using WINDOWS 7 and Mozilla FF Is there any other way to reset these values?

Take a back up of current set up. Delete 0_35 entry and create one for Airtel values.

as I click on edit, connection to the modem is lost.
Select (Two identical VPI/VCI not allowed ( 0/32 MTNL )
AIRTEL VPI VCI 1 and 32.
If already on "Bridged" mode
Use a dialer..Enter Airtel UserId/PW in computer window.
Check "sticky" post WA3002-G4 quick reference for screen shots etc.

Managed to configure the modem by changing VPI/VCI, Providing Airtel User Credentials. But after running the modem diagnostics, it failed to PING primary DNS server and No internet connectivity.DNS and Gateway settings are set to Autodiscover and their values are confirmed by Airtel Service Center. I also tried to change the IP settings on the laptop but that didn't serve the purpose.DNS Ping is resulting in Destination Host Unreachable.

Did you get an adsl modem from AIRTEL ? were you billed NON refundable deposit of Rs 500 or Rs 1000/(wifi model)?

Try in lan mode for a connection..
then wifi.
The link wa3002_g4 lists many websites with screen shots/ power point(MP BSNL) presentation etc.
Confirm how you connect to internet now ? modem model used?
From DNA model Device Info/Statistics/ADSL
post link here. ( as screen shot )

From computer:
Start RUn type cmd Ok
new window
type ipconfig /all
Copy/paste data here ONLY for LAN or Wlan mode.
No Tunnel data needed.
