I am in fact charging my phone thro the USB A port on my tronsmart. Works fine. Slowdown is more noticeable when you charge at 1A or non qc charger on qc capable phone.

If you want to fast charge your 5X, you need to buy a powerbank which has a USB-C port and which can output 3A. The Xiaomi Powerbank will not fast charge a Nexus 5x/6p/Pixel or any device which uses USB-C fast charging or USB-PD fast charging capibility.

The tronsmart powerbank is the best bet and also comparatively cheaper than Anker and has worked great for me for both 6P and Google Pixel XL. I use it quite frequently these days. Just keep an eye on Amazon, it comes back in stock frequently.

I was thinking of getting it amazon.com too as it's avail. there, but they don't ship to India, wondering where the seller in India is importing from , didn't find it on AliExpress too ..

One would expect more like these type power banks, considering OnePlus and Nexus devices are quite popular these days..

no one is going to spend 2000 or more on a powerbank. i see local brands everywhere. the only people who avoid cheap power banks are generally iPhone owners. the demand for high quality variants is pretty low. OnePlus has not updated their powerbank in long time i believe. mi is the only one updating their power banks.

importing power banks would probably not work out well because they are basically batteries which can explode. if you want something urgently, get the pro variant from mi. it would not give you fastest charging speed but would still be fast enough and should be safe.

for my nexus 5x ? no not yet, found lot of people on google having same issue, plus i downloaded this app called Power Pro, it kills apps running in background, its pain to keep running the app every now and then as it wont do it on its own, but i mange about 3.5 hrs + SOT with this app...

Hmm I would be travelling soon for around 15 days, really would like to carry a power bank with his specs 3amp/input/output with c type input/output
