Hi all,
Recently, I've been unable to access my modem home page by entering http://192.168.1.1/ in the address bar of my browser.
Despite entering the default username and pass as admin, access is denied.
Can someone please help?
Thanks in advance!

Someone must hav logged in remotely and chged it for fun.......
Reset the router and configure it again.....
Also "Disable" Remote Management in the router so router can be accessed only via LAN or WiFi...... coz its so easy to fiddle with the settings in others routers......

Hi, before resetting just try clearing the cache, etc, of your browsers. Which browser did you use to login? I have a D-Link and sometimes it would not open in IE and would open in Firefox with the same IP! Real crazy, but that's just how things can sometimes work/not work.Maybe you created a password for it because usually after the initial settings on the modem it advises to change the password for security and you might have forgotten it? Just a doubt. Try the above and see though. If not, as mentioned above try a reset and you should be fine. Cheers

Thank you for your inputs.
I reset the modem to factory settings and it works perfectly now.
