Hi,

I have a D-Link WBR 2310 wireless router connected to Huawei MT841 ADSL modem. The wireless network work great but, when I try to configure the Dlink router using http://192.168.0.1 the browser is never able to connect.

I am able to connect to the modem at http://192.168.1.1

I want to configure WEP on my router so that its a secure wireless network. Has anyone faced this issue? The Dlink support page at

D-Link TechSupport - Choose Your Country

says that http://192.168.0.1should connect to the Dlink router.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Rosh

Thanks essbebe. I was able to connect after changing the IP of my device to the 192.168.0.xx range. Previously it was 192.168.1.xx

@dxer first link for WBR 2310 wanted by @ celeron. You see 1310 on the top corners. second link is a pdf file. for D-Link 502T. You have to open/download the PDF file to confirm.Unable to understand your query

The link (to *pdf) is for GLB-502T and not for DSL-502T. Suffice it to say that GLB-502T and DSL-502T are different items and functions in altogether different manner. It appears that by "D-Link-502T" people are referring to GLB-502T only. The DSL-502T is an ADSL router from Dlink.

Nowhere in the thread there is any mention of GLB or DSL. Anyway only difference seems to be addl usb port. How did you conclude that anybody
assumed the *pdf link is for DSL-502T ?
I have clearly mentioned it is a pdf file ."Open it and check it."
There is not much difference in programming different modems/routers etc
and any guidance , even if does not pertain to exact specific model helps.
