Me Purchased an ADSL MODEM from BSNL during my BROADBAND Connection. Me installed USB driver from the CD(got a driver cd from bsnl-conatains s/w for ADSL MODEM C2110-SIEMENS) and connected modem to the system through USB.And everything worked for me. ONEDAY, I JUST UNINSTALLED MY DSL MODEM DRIVER AND TRIED TO REINSTALL IT.SUDDENLY DUE TO POWER FAILURE MY INSTALLTION STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE. NOW, THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I AM TRYING TO REINSTALL the driver using MY COMPUTER->PROPERTIES->HARDWARE->device manager I AM GETTING MESSAGE "windows could not load the installer for GsiClass.Contact your hardware vendor for assistance." But when I am trying to install the software directly from the Driver CD i am getting a message "the DSL modem is already installed. To upgrade the software, you must remove the current software and then run Setup again later". I tried to remove the values from registry, repaired XP installation etc. but nothing helped me. i think the problem is with that GsiClass. So till date i am unable to use the USB for connecting modem to system. But i am able to connect the modem to system through ethernet port. So the modem is OK.and i can use the broadband connection. can anyone suggest me a solution to install the USB driver again. Please help me to solve the problem.
