Unable to make any voice calls on Jio if I connect to Home Wifi

I'm facing this weird issue since last 2 months. Whenever I connect mobile to my home Wifi (Act broadband), Jio stops working - No voice calls, VoLTE symbol & arrows disappears from the signal bar. If I disconnect wifi, everything will be fine again. I tried by installing Jio 4g voice app, but its too entering offline mode whenever I connect to wifi.

I contacted jio customer care (Connecting to agent is a torture in itself), but after all the explanation & discussion they ends up saying "Wifi calling is not supported by your handset" or some other useless thing.

Any clues on what can be the issue?

Did you alter DNS settings ?
Use Google DNS and check whether vowifi is working

@srisri890 which handset do you have?
Try disabling Wifi calling if thats enabled.

@SVK Wifi calling is not enabled on my handset I think. It's "Infinix hot 4 pro", not listed under Wifi calling compatible handsets in jio website. I have no such wifi calling setting under handset settings.

Not altered any DNS settings. Today I also tried factory reset to check if it works, but still no luck. My mobile is not a wifi calling compatible handset.

@srisri890 Can you confirm if vowifi.jio.com resolves on the phone when you connect to Wi-Fi network? One way to check this on the Android phone itself is by using an Whois and DNS lookup app

Or if you have a system connected to the same Wi-Fi, on Windows, at the command prompt,

nslookup vowifi.jio.com

Please share the screenshots from either the mobile using the app or a system using nslookup.

@srisri890 When you say, "it's working", do you mean calling is working ? I would also suggest you check vowifi.jio.com on the phone. I have a hunch, it resolves differently.

@pswapneel No I mean "It's resolving". Sorry for that.

Now I checked it in the mobile app you recommended. It is resolving to:

49.45.63.2

Finally, the issue got resolved with the help & suggestions from @pswapneel and @SVK

I changed DNS1 and DNS2 to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively. And Boom! Voice calls started working even while the Wifi is connected.

I still don't know how I got into the issue & what changes these 2 numbers brought to my mobile. But I'm happy & it's flawlessly working now.
