I actually enjoyed it more than Ambulance. I have never played the game. And reviews indicate that fans of the game would probably not like this movie much because they picked the wrong actor as the leading guy who is totally different from the character in the game. But as an action movie it was a decent watch. Very stupid throughout though.
The character of Nate in the game was modelled after Nathan Fillion. Game adapted everything about him, including his expressions, mannerisms and humor. In some editions, I believe the character in the game looks exactly like Nathan. Sony would have cast him if this movie had been made 10-12 years ago.
Dunno, Reddit told me that Nate is modelled after Johnny Knoxville lol based on interviews from the developers.
