NEW DELHI: A Norwegian-Indian telecom joint venture firm, Uninor, on Tueday said it has secured 1.2 million subscribers across eight telecom circles
during the first month of its operation.
Since the launch in December last year and by the end of the respective month, Uninor has secured 1.2 million subscribers across eight telecom circles where it offers GSM services, Uninor said in a statement.
Uninor, a joint venture between Norway's Telenor and India's Unitech, had launched operations in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, East and West Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
