I am having a very unstable link on my new D-Link DSL 2750-U router. It works fine for some time but soon becomes unstable. There isn't any such problem in my Netgear DG834 router.
The stats are as follows:
SNR Margin: 173, 59
Attenuation: 335, 410
Output Power: 19.5, 12
Attainable Rate: 13364, 220
Rate: 4095, 218
D: 64, 4
Delay: 6.43, 6.44
Unfortunately, I am not able to update the firmware, it fails each time. Even after resetting the router, update didn't work.
For SNR and Attenuation it shows 0.1 dB in braces. I guess it would be 0.1 times what I have specified.
Yes, I downloaded the firmware to desktop and then uploaded it. For the faulty cable joint, I am not sure if that could be the reason as my Netgearrouter works fine with the same line.
