100% good investment because of its advance functions, this box gives you more control over your tv. if someone has no budget then should not jump for it.

Yes, it is a good investment in the present scenario. I do not think there will be even one TS+ customer who regrets this investment.

^ Well, once you spend 10 K, you got to live with it, unless you have the luxury of throwing it out of the window without worrying about the investment made :D

Already we find people who wants to throw TS but not able to do so because of heavy investements made earlier. When people can't throw TS because they spent 4-5K on it then how can they dare to throw when they spend 10,000? Believe me some people have taken on EMI without even telling their spouse. So no chance to throw it.

'Inda pazham pulikkum'; this is an apt proverb for the trio. He who can't afford to buy the mango, keeps saying 'this fruit is sour'. But the trio has developed as a fine art patting each other. Kudos to them. Long live their tribe.Still the statement holds: TS+ gives a new meaning to desync watching and all those who have TS+ will vouch!

I think Tata Sky plus is an excellent product. I have used it for long and don't regret it a bit. Only those who actually experience Tata Sky+ will know what I am talking about. i would suggest that you see a demo or try it once. I am sure you will be hooked to it. It costs more but thats because its a premium product.

premium product. wohoo. both airtel iptv stb and Tata Sky plus stb are chinese piece of crap which are sold at a premium in india just because they can. no one is stopping them.

I too believe Tata Sky+ is 1 of best service to watch TV, and it has certainly changed TV viewing experience for their owners. 50% discount offer is great idea by TATASKY to encourage existing (happy) customers to go for it.

For all happy customers of Tata Sky PLUS, I believe someone is spreading rumours on the forum then about some of the issues with TS+. Like a recorded program is not available for viewing if it is from a channel which the customer is not subscribed to any longer. Or like Showcase content gets wiped away after 7 days. Too bad. Such rumours need to be addressed at the earliest for Tata Sky Plus to retain its 'premium' [over-priced] tag. While a DVR is something that is really handy to have, the price at which + is being retailed is anything but sane. Tell me this. Two days back, I was watching Sach Ka Saamna at 12 in the night. During the show, a flight happens to go overhead - I stay near the airport - and there is tremendous disturbance in Star Plus - other channels are fine. The picture becomes pixelated, the audio vanishes, there are digital disturbances, and boom "This channel is temporarily unavailable". Will Tata Sky PLUS record this show then? I had to download the episode from the web eventually and watch. I guess this too is a 'desynced' viewing experience. Oh, and btw, I did call customer care. The guy thought I was fooling around. Was almost laughing. As if I had called him up under the influence of alcohol.

heh yeah. my dad keeps on complaining about the disruption in services on his dth connection whenever there is rain or bad weather. thankfully no such issues with my iptv connectivity. :pleasehelp:
