Upgrading Bundled Hotstar Super to Premium on Jiofiber

There is an option in the Disney + Hotstar app of the Jio STB in the video settings to upgrade to premium but the the price mentioned is for the full subscription (1499) and no upgrade options are available. So do we have to pay the full price?

No, it is not possible as of now.

I think even with 1gbps plan, you get Hotstar super. So, i think the only affordable way to get premium plan is to recharge with 4G 1499 prepaid plan on your mobile.

I just went to Hotstar in firefox on windows and logged in. Then it gave me an option to upgrade from super to yearly premium plan for around Rs. 600.

To do this... You have to land on hotstar plans page by searching in another tab in google while logged in. It didn't give an upgrade option directly from My account's page FYI.

I have the monthly plan so I don't think this option will show up for me, can anyone else with annual plan confirm if they can also see the option to upgrade?

I don't want to be stuck with annual plan if I can't upgrade Hotstar.

Edit: I can confirm it is not showing up for me even trying to open hotstar select plan page in new tab through Google search.
