@Kyle Crane Ofcourse you have Goodbye DPI alternative on iOS

@akshay71 first impressions : this doesnt seem to work all that much

My Vi 4G sim is still loading things faster

And I’m trying out websites on incognito to be clear of any cache

I’ll keep checking if this does work later

In the First 7 months i did not face such issues until 19th of Aug when there were heavy rains in Mumbai and the network went offline for about 2 hours and after coming online i started to notice how everything was slower than my cellular service and till date this has been like that
@Kyle Crane Something similar happened with my Tata Play connection. It was working perfectly fine before June 2025, after that it started acting weird as the monsoon arrived. It has not been fixed till date even after multiple complains and follow ups from the customer care. I am not sure what changed, all the cables are underground and fiber cables coming from the DP box are routed through the conduit so there is no way rain could have caused it.
Does your ISP use Tata upstream by any chance?

I guess this means that my routing is through Tata? Also, I think due to heavy rains most of the dangling fibre cables are cut by falling trees and hence they have to switch to back up backhaul and that's what is causing this? (since it will take time to re lay those cables)

Hmm tata upstream seems to be the culprit here. There's nothing you can do ig. Just get a JioAirfiber as a backup and use booster packs for additional data, it's quite affordable, 250 for 500 GB data.

@vishalrao wait where did that happen?

i suspect them changing backhaul after the heavy rain event in Mumbai since i personally saw so many fiber cables cut by falling trees, and they were repairing it the same night and the day after

but this overall slowdown in responsiveness didn't fix
