hey buddy cyberwiz, u made a slight mistake in the calculation, even if we consider the lowest 2.5 MB per hr limit... ;)
[/b]

Man i never gave any calculation where is the mistake?

you can very well exhaust ur 1 GB limit just by uploading stuff :o
[/b]

Thats exactly wat i said "so u cant upload 24X7 without worrying abt ur 1 GB limit"

16 (hrs) * 2.5 (MB) * 30 (days) = 1200 MB
[/b]

c'mon man i passed class 2

I'm not sure how often this is but i would think if you uploaded 100MB say, the acks downloaded would probably be very small.
[/b]

I have experienced a steady 4-8 kbps download on TCP/UDP streaming/uploading etc and an hour of streaming/uploading translates to abt 100 MB Upload which in turn results in 2.5 to 3 MB/Hr downloaded data on a 256K connex.

I didnt mean to challenge anyones knowledge about the issue. All I meant was that there are ISPs including SIfy that consider data transfer as download+ Upload nad not only download.

Why r u cryin again and again!

And its proven and said again

"MTNL DON'T CHARGE FOR UPLOAD DATA USAGE"

Every member in this section recognize this however if you still doubt it then call 1504. Don't mess up here.

you knw..b4 the port binding thing.. mtnl wasnt counting the amount of data being downloaded while your only uploading... i used abc/azureus for this job... but it does.. and that sucks.. cause all the data that has been downloaded while uploading is counted :( .... so you really cant upload a lot without worring too much abt your downloads now :(

Agreed you are a veteran here, that does not give you the right to trash other peoples' opinions and doubts. Didnt you have any doubts when you were new?
Try to be polite and reasonable. Its a good virtue.

LOL  !!
First you ask about something then just don't believe in what other say and ask quote to support it.
If you can't believe then why ask for it.
Anyway the virtue you asked for is always there for believers. :P
