Use Jio number in a new phone

Can I switch phones ( 4G enabled ) and still use the same Jio number ?

Yes, you can. Just like any other SIM we can insert the Jio SIM in any 4G phone and use it.

I guess you went with the story of phones getting locked to JIO SIM and SIMs becoming useless ??

I think Jio sims are IMEI bound you need separate sim for every IMEI number.

What? Where did you get that from? I have a Huawei 4G router and an iPhone between which I regularly switch SIM.

Yea,it's not IMEI bound anymore..It used to be at one point for Samsung and LYF
