Pay Attention to Output Waveform when buying UPS.
Only buy UPS with pure sine wave or sine wave output.
Do not buy UPS if it says modified sine wave, square sine wave or simulated sine wave.

If you have oscillator, you can check what waveform UPS is really outputting.

Non-pure sine wave is likely stepped approximation to sine wave. Probably what it means when it doesn't say pure in output wave form.
