How to know whether my Excitel connection is EPON or GPON? It used to show the PON mode as EPON in older router but the new one doesn't show it.

Hi guys. same topic. so i thought of replying here instead of opening a new thread
recently i shifted to excitel (they're using EPON in my area)
they gave me ubiqcom UB5021 GVWD wireless router



i bought xz000-g7 but its not registering

i cloned below from stock router

serial no. GPON002E6118
wan mac. A8:3A:48:2E:61:21

excitel refuses to configure bridge mode
i signed long term subscription so cant switch to others now

logged into stock modem using excitel /exc@123
found iptv profile in bridge mode but can't make PPPoE connection from other router
i failed to find a way to disable stock router's default PPPoE profile

xz000-g7 shows registered and showing Rx / Tx power
but pon led blinking green
does it mean its really registered?
i couldn't connect through PPPoE using my Asus router

does excitel uses vlans?
even if it does, pon led should be stable. right?
wish TP-Link had given vlan scanner tool on G7 like they did on G3

excitel PON password required?
where to get it from?

unless excitel made it very hard to use 3rd party modems, i should be fairly able to connect
stock router has 2 mac IDs and i pick what labelled as wan mac
what this 2nd mac ID i wonder. is it lan mac or PON mac?
does PON has mac and ISP able to bind it for authentication purpose?
if yes, our xz000-g7 doesn't have anyway to clone it
am i missing anything else?

so much hard work for trying to dump a crappy ISP modem

What router do you currently have, brdr?
If it's PPC, you can put it in bridge mode.

i have the ubiqcom UB5021 GVW-D and theres no bridge mode option unfortunately. I've tried getting ssh and telnet access but that only give a limited shell and there no info on the superuse user
