UTV Movies to air interesting films this June & July

UTV Movies, the Hindi movies channel from UTV Global Broadcasting (UGBL), will broadcast interesting films this June and July. On June 6, My Name is Anthony Gonsalves at 8.30 pm in the Shan-E-Sukravar slot, and on June 27, movie Sirf will premiere in the same slot. This will be followed by movie Halla Bol, starring Ajay Devgan and Vidya Balan in July.Shantonu Aditya, Executive director, UGBL, says, "Within three months of its launch UTV Movies has brought viewers wholesome entertainment. To keep the momentum going we are on an aggressive acquisition path with some more announcements expected shortly."The channel has also acquired RGV's Naina and King of Bollywood from I Dream Productions. UTV Movies also has added a slate of 17 movies from Star TV through the syndication route. The titles include hits such as Jhankar Beats, Jism, Hu Tu Tu and Hazaro Khwaishein Aisi.
