VDSL Plan on DNA-A211-I Modem ??

I am looking for High Speed Upload Plan, right now m on 750UL Plan. i went to bsnl office... and there i was told that the mentioned plan is a VDSL Plan so it wont work on my current telephone wire and my DNA-A211-I Modem.

Is that true ? or Should i go for that Plan ?

Few things you need to understand:-
1. VDSL is good only if you stay within 1.5KM from the exchange
2. VDSL Modems are not easily available in market or with BSNL
3. Where are u from? BSNL has few city specific plan... like in hyderabad the 16 MBPS plan is for 1500 only!
